TLC has a group of volunteers and a Management Committee involving solicitors, law students and people from other professions.

Toongabbie Legal Centre Committee Members

TOONGABBIE LEGAL CENTRE INC (TLC) is run by a team of Volunteers, over 50, who give their time to support the mission of the Centre and serve the community under the leadership of the Honorary Director, Mr Susai Benjamin JP. Mr Benjamin is a Solicitor and Barrister, Notary Public and a Registered Migration Agent.

The team of Volunteers includes:

Solicitors from various parts of Sydney who work during the week in a variety of private and  public practices led by Acting PRINCIPAL SOLICITOR, Susai Benjamin.

  • IT personnel
  • Financial Planners and
  • Educators

Since 2008, Her Honour Justice Margaret Beazley AO has been the Patron of TLC.

TLC is led by an Honorary Coordinator and is governed by a Management Committee elected from members of TLC at each Annual General Meeting.

Dyean Moodley is a Mum to two sons and works at Microsoft Australia. She is South African born and of Indian heritage with a rich cross-cultural experience in Australia spanning over two decades. As a result, she is on a mission to help culturally, socially and economically disadvantaged individuals through her contribution to social enterprises.

A resident of Western Sydney, Dyean has experience both as an entrepreneur and working in the corporate sector. She holds a postgraduate diploma in accounting science from the University of South Africa and is a Chartered Accountant.

Dyean is an ex-Board member of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber, an ambassador for Inspiring Rare Birds and a mentor with the Global Mentorship Initiative.

Jade is a Technologist, Community volunteer interested in the arts and photography. He loves films, theatre, ancient history and innovation, as well as futurism, astronomy, community and entrepreneurship, to name just some of his passions. He is also very interested in giving back to his community.
